History 

Is a prestigious high school in the City of Buenos Aires belonging, like the High School of Commerce Carlos Pellegrini and the Free Institute of Secondary Education, the University of Buenos Aires.In 1943 the site where it was declared a Historic Place.


In the place where today the educational establishment operated variouseducational institutions, centuries before its founding. Generally regarded, even by the same school as if it were a single institution. In 1654 the Cabildo of BuenosAires instructed the Jesuit order address youth education. In 1661 they settled on the site that later became known as the Manzana de las Luces, bounded by the present streets Bolívar, Moreno, Peru and Alsina.
